Chocolate Protein Bar

  • 120g rice puffs (freedom foods)
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 125g honey, melted
  • 1/4 cup maple flavoured syrup, sugar free (queens)
  • 1x tsp vanilla essence (queen)
  • 100g dark chocolate (45% cocoa)
  • 90g whey protein, 3PS vanilla


  1. Add all ingredients (leaving out the chocolate) to a bowl, mix together, press firmly into a baking tray and place in the freezer for 5-10 minutes.
  2. In a microwave safe bowl, melt the chocolate in 30 seconds intervals, stirring in between (to ensure it doesn't burn).
  3. Remove the baking tray from the freezer, evenly pour/ spread your melted chocolate on top and place back into the freezer for an extra 15 minutes.
